try this one
simple variation on crumbed calamari
substitute 1/2 of the breadcrumbs (gotta love deep fried breadcrumbs) with shreaded coconut
goes well with beer (of course) and a bit of sweet chilli dipping sauce.

Hmm, you have my interest.
Hell yeh, the coconut and breadcrumbs would be a very tasty combo to add to the calamari coating (crunchy too i'd rekken) without killing the delecate flavour. Thanks Grahame I will be giving it a go on the squid I caught last weekend.

G Tried your recepie with substitute coconut mate it was the best.With beer even better cant stop eating.Recomend a Sweet with the zest of a lime and juice of half as dipper yum yu.By the way thans for a wicked day mate Andy thanks for all the tips guys.

It un Australian.They say big boys like us float better than thin salad eaters.Dont get me wrong salad makes a good garnish hehe
