Expressions of interest Social Round 31 Aug 7.32pm

Guys the next social round is the 31st August.I wont be here for the Social Round due to work commitments.There was talk of possibly having the next Social Round at Straddy.Because i am not here i need someone to step up and drive this next Social Round.The Prize for biggest squid is set and the scales and forms are available from my big red box.I need them to pick this up this weekend.Sunday 26th the latest and make things happen.

I can come to the social. If i could make a suggestion, with the Stradbroke round being on the friday the 31st of August i'm guessing it is most likely going to be night/late afternoon round the only issue with that is the flyer times from the island back over to Cleveland. Because the last flyer back to the Cleveland is at 7:55pm and the high tide is at around 10pm. So it might be very hard to get back over in time or else we will have to stay at Stradbroke but if you want i can offer to let the guys that go to come stay at my grandpa's place in Dunwich because he is living on the mainland. The alterative for Stradbroke social is if we make it the following saturday the 1st of September and make it a day time social or we make it a different location. I really like the sounds of a Stradbroke round though. I hope the advice and suggestions help.

You can make it a morning round dude.The Straddy thing is a suggestion.But one member needs to put up their hand to run this. I'm up for anything.Thats why we have this forum for suggestions.Guys its no good looking and not saying anything.Im not here so i cant decide for you.We can have it on the 1st but your right Kaspar a morning round would be logical.

Guys noone has put their hand up to run one bloody day.Not good.Cant wait for the AGM .Ill have to look at another day.Im very disappointed.
