Guys its time again for another comp round this time in the great North Redcliffe.
Meet up time 7pm if you are any later than 7.30pm you wont be able to compete

Competition Start time:8 pm
Competition Finish time: 12am
Cost:$15 Please bring the correct money.There will be no change.

I have to go to NSW on Saturday morning but hope to be back in time to get to Redcliffe.

shooting state of origin in casino,(yeah I know, my origin is 21000 kilometers away) for queensland, go the maroons!!! And got two more arrows on sunday morning down southport. Rod is so nice that I dont mind not catching anything really. Starting to wonder what a big fish will feel like on one of these egi rods. I recon it`ll bend all the way to the butt. nt

I might pop along later and see where the squid at around redcliffe area, never fish for squid there so be good to find some hot spots *hint* Ned...

niels I hear ya, the rod is so light and nice to use, can fish on it all day, I would use it for my main fishing rod but I don't want fish guts all over it

I'm brand spankers new to the squid fishing. I haven't done any proper squid fishing before, so might pop in and get the feel of what these comps are all about. Looks pretty interesting and look forward to seeing what its all about.

Pity the weather has deteriorated, might make things a bit tough, there are so many squid around at the moment. Caught 30 + the last two nights in a row, really good size for this time of year, all around the 700g-1 kg mark.

I myself am brand spankining new never caught a squid in my life off of a rod, i shall be there to learn a thing or two from those willing to teach. cheers
