Hey Guys
We have discused having a daylight round before and i think August will be the month to do so. Tentative date is Sun 19th Aug.. Putting this one out early as some people have other commitments during the day. Location TBC. So far tides are look like its going to be high around 1300.
Please submit your eoi for this.
Cheers

Re: Round 5
Alan has suggested holding the next comp on the following weekend the tides are earlier in the day. The reason being is because generally early mornings have less people around and also catch rates in the late afternoon arnt as great. (ive experienced this 3 trips to manly now)
So we are putting this out to everyone . do you want to have it on the 21st or 28th Aug?
Locations will either be Manly or Redcliffe.
please let us know by end of this week.
Cheers

Aaron,
if you need squid porn for your trip to Sydney, you've got a real problem. Hope your pretty lady appreciates your efforts and says.....Yes!
Good luck mate!

Re: Round 5
Cleveland is not an option.
I vote morning or night session at Redcliffe.
My reasons for wanting a morning or night session over an afternoon session are that on average the weather is more stable at these times and there is generally less people around on a Sunday morning as opposed to Sunday afternoon.
Cheers,
Al

Mug i know what you mean . Went down both sat & sun and fish the last hr or so of the run in and the next 4hrs of the run out. Sat landed 2 within 10 mins of getting to the spot(approx 3pm). Was quiet after the clouds came and the clock ticked 4pm. Sunday headed down a bit later (bout 40mins after the high) and got none.
Both sessions i lost jigs near the water fountain near wilsons due to Noobs that love using 50lb mono... oh well good excuse to get some more lures then.
