Final Stage Egi Comp Manly 13th October

Guys its here the final stage of the season.The last stage will be be held at Manly as per G's choice.
There are two dates on offer one being the comp and the other being the alternate incase of cancellation.
The 13th October or the alternate being 27th October.
If we get to fish on the first date, then the second one could be used as an AGM/social round, or if the weather is bad on the 13th and can only fish on the 27th then combine the AGM with the comp.

Maybe it should be a handicap event and give the young fella a 23 gram head start

I am out, I will be in Malaysia for both dates. My apology for not able to make it to the meeting. I guess see you next year.

The guys been taking pics so well see give him the benefit of the doubt.

I actually did really well the past holidays i had. I got 4 legal king fish at dunwich with the biggest at 1m and i got quite alot of squid and a few over 1kg. I can post the pics if you like.

Had to go up to Noosa for the weekend so couldnt make it, btw there are no squid there went for a good walk around on sat night and I didn't even see one.

Hey robbie where did you try? did you try the rocks around noosa heads because they are around there i've managed to land a few around there with my freinds that live there.

hey guys, sorry i couldnt make it, i suffered from a partially collapsed lung,and wound up in hospital for a bit. apparently im gonna be fine if i rest up..im just really short of breath, otherwise im fine

It was too windy out the front but I did try around there anyway for ziltch, also had a look at around noosaville and where all those guys go stand up paddle boarding.

Robbie around this time of the year the squid out there aren't as prevelent as winter. Winter is the best time because there alot of calm conditions out around noosa heads and the squid come in really close to the rocks. if there was quite a bit of wind and swell on the weekend you can forget squid around the rocks there. i did really well on the weekend though i got my first kingfish on a surface lure it measured in at 1m long as well as 5kg's of squid in one night with one of the squid at 1.3kg i will post picks tonight.
