Daiwa Emeraldas ST84MB Baitcaster

This rod was fitted with a Daiwa Z2020 and 30lb Sunline Super PE and 20lb Flourocarbon leader, joined with a Slim Beauty and a 3/8oz Casting plug. It was possible to hit a standard household wheelie bin at 52 metres, and achieve 60 metres by sacrificing some accuracy. I also played on water with TN60 Jackalls and not surprisingly, it handled them with ease. I cannot fault this rod, and I'm keen to try it with some top water frogs at Lake Awoonga later in the year. Outstanding.
